In 2002, our co-founders Ciaran Donovan and Matt Hagen wanted to transform executive search.
They saw a need for a firm that combined proven quantifiable research processes with the intangible contemporary instinct that only ground-breaking search practitioners possess.
They believed that leading corporations, government entities and not-for-profits deserved to be connected with pre-eminent established and emerging leadership talent.

We utilise proprietary quantitative and qualitative research tools through our fully in-house research team for confidentiality, security and above all quality.
Our Partners have long established both domestic and global networks, developed from their extensive sector, corporate and search experience.
We are a privately owned and managed Australian firm, and we have no conflicts through global hands-off agreements. This enables us to access, for our chosen clients, genuine and unfettered global access to world class talent irrespective of where they are domiciled.
Our Contribution to the Community
Omera Partners has a long, and dedicated commitment to supporting a broad range of organisations and groups that seek to help others and improve our community.
We have a track record of delivering our industry leading executive search services and board advisory services to worthy causes at cost equating to more than half a million dollars annually. This allows these fantastic organisations to connect with talented leaders to help them achieve their, for purpose, altruistic objectives.
Each year we also provide direct financial support to charities. Between February and April 2023, we supported seven charities who were nominated by our Team for their contribution to the community across Australia - with a total of 10% of group revenue donated for various programs and initiatives.
At the end of each year our Team collaboratively agree which charity will be supported by our Christmas fundraising drive where funds normally spent on gifts and cards are donated to a worthy cause.
We also contribute to the community on a personal level. We have a dedicated team in each of our offices who regularly donate blood or plasma; we run successful clothing drives to support people re-entering the workforce after difficult times; and each year we dedicate a day of our time where we can give back to our community in a practical way.

Diversity is fundamental to the firm with 65% of our staff women, including a 50/50 gender representation at Partner level.
We offer a genuine global outlook with 50% of our staff born overseas and 75% having lived or worked abroad. Twelve different languages are spoken across our team.
We search beyond the traditional networks to find diverse, innovative leaders to help our clients build boards and senior teams reflective of contemporary society and are committed to providing a 50/50gender representation on shortlists for private and public sector board appointments.
