Richard's career spans 17 years in executive search with 13 of those based in Australia. His focus is on placing Digital Infrastructure leaders to drive critical technology transformations, cloud migrations, and data centre expansions across the Asia Pacific region. Richard understands the complexities of the digital infrastructure ecosystem, from hyperscale data centres and edge computing to submarine cable systems and telecommunications networks. He partners with organisations across the entire value chain – including data centre operators, cloud service providers, connectivity specialists, and infrastructure investors – to secure leaders who can navigate the convergence of traditional infrastructure with emerging technologies.
He has also built deep expertise in the Professional Services sector, partnering with clients ranging from top-tier global consulting and advisory firms to Australian boutiques and new market entrants. He has successfully made transformational appointments across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Japan, in Strategy, Advisory, Management Consulting, Technology Services, and Tax. His work encompasses lateral Partner/Managing Director hires, orchestrating complex team moves, and facilitating strategic acquisitions.

Originally from the UK, Richard studied at the Liverpool John Moores University before moving to Australia in 2012. This international perspective enriches his ability to understand diverse organisational cultures and identify leaders who can navigate complex regional markets.
